Get Ready for Hoodie Hoo Day!

The Claiborne House Bed and Breakfast wants you to Hoodie Hoo this February 20th!
Hoodie Hoo High Noon Feb 20th
Hoodie Hoo Day happens to fall on a Sunday this year, so we hope you can join us and Hoodie Hoo with your family and friends here at The Claiborne House in Virginia.

WHAT IS HOODIE HOO DAY, YOU ASK?

On this winter day, people go out at noon, wave their hands over their heads and yell "Hoodie-Hoo!"

It is a day to chase away winter and bring in spring. After all, everyone in the northern hemisphere are sick and tired of winter at this point and a little crazy being cooped up inside all winter and not seeing the sun.

When: Always on February 20 High Noon for anyone living in the Northern Hemisphere

In other words all of us with cabin fever and sun deprivation are allowed to go outside and embarrass ourselves and tell any onlookers it is an official holiday, so back off! (of course we will say it with much more kindness and a smile on our face, maybe)

While you are at it, why not take in a hike? We have plenty of trails and hikes nearby here in these Blue Ridge Mountains, Philpott Lake, Smith Mountain Lake, Waid HomesteadMill Mountain and the Roanoke Star, The Appalachian Trail in Virginia.  Plan your Hoodie Hoo Day today!

Remember Virginia is for Hoodie Hoo lovers!
