The Over the Mountain Studio Tour - http://www.studiotourwv.org/ is always held the second weekend of November. There is often a preview show in July in downtown Shepherdstown, WV.
Enjoy a leisurely self-guided driving tour around Jefferson County in the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia to artists' studios, with some artists working during the tour. Usually two to three artists showcase their artistry at each location. The tour is free, and a wide variety of artisan crafts are shown, from hand-worked wooden bowls to blacksmithed iron tools to thrown pottery to handcrafted glass and jewelry. .
