Likewise, there's a concept called slow travel, which is quite the opposite of seeing 5 cities in 5 days. It's more like spending 5 days getting to know one city, or in the case of Pocahontas, getting to know one little town. Slow travel is about walking, not driving. It's about noticing, and appreciating, every detail around you. It's about walking into a small town barbershop and having Floyd the barber give you a haircut, and talking with him while he works, as you learn about his life and he learns a bit about yours.
